What Breaks Your Heart?

As a missionary I need to keep bringing my heart to God. Our hearts are constantly in need, who knows the heart? Since God knows my heart then I need to find out if my heart is like His heart. What breaks your heart?

More than 1,500 people struggled for survival, climbing on debris and doing whatever they could to survive the cold waters. The huge ship that they had fully trusted in had quickly sunken to the depths. 18 rescue boats looked upon the scene, many of them half empty. After things had quieted down, only two boats went back to see if it could find survivors. From the 1,526 people, only 9 were still alive, 3 of whom died later. Of a total of 2,223 people, only 706 survived; 1,517 perished. This is the story of the RMS Titanic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Titanic).

A thought keeps haunting me... is the church today like those life boats that have all the potential to save lives, but are waiting at a distance looking on, trying to be "safe"? With all the resources we have today, it is hard to believe that there are still so many unreached people. I ask myself, how can it be that it is easier for big corporations like Microsoft and Coca Cola to permeate the world with their products than it is for us to reach them with the Gospel? Why are there 140 tribal groups in Sudan still unreached?

Why is there towns and villages still without a church. Why are we so reluctant to share the greatest message ever told? What breaks your heart? I would appreciate your comments.

Mt 28:19,20 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." The key to the passage is the command to make disciples- the methodology is go to them, teach them, and then baptize them. We actually are so reluctant in the going part. We weary over has God called me? Until you know something else, as you go, when you go, where ever you go- will you represent the heart of God
