Bahamas

Today was the installation of Franklyn Burrows as the pastor of Evangelistic Centre, Nassau, The Bahamas. I was so glad to be there at that installation. It was a reminder of the purpose of the Church, and the role of a pastor who has a vision.
I know it will take time but what is important today is that the main thing has come back around to be the main thing.
You may ask, "what is the main thing?"
"Make disciples of all nations." What if made that a starter for the main thing. Then how about if we saw once again that the role of the five fold ministry gifts to the church would come back to "equipping the saints for work of ministry." I wonder what would happen to our churches. People would be busy gossiping the gospel, telling the good news! Jesus would be lifted up! People would be brought into the Kingdom! The busy people would not have time for fighting, quarreling or tearing at each other or leadership. Amazing! The Gospel would go to all the nations of the earth, so that all the peoples of the earth would know that he is Lord, and that there is none other.
Great!
